and a (really shit quality) close up.
the finished diamond lobster. close up to follow.
A seperate brief, alongside my London exhibition. ‘Recuperate’ have set the theme of iconography for A3 poster entries. I chose to use lady gaga as the “icon”, and used her diamonte lobster head-dress as the subject matter. The lobster silhouette is made up of thousands of little diamond drawings.
…..NEARLY FINISHED.
A section of a new t-shirt design. Using the cars themselves as the subject matter instead of outcomes taken from parts of the cars. ….if that made any sense.
this design will follow the kaleidoscopic look, and i’m still deciding whether to add in some colour or not. As usual.
goddammit NO
all the time
i don’t think i’ve reblogged for about 2 years, and i hate coffee.
but i used to get this problem SO often at school.
pronunciation aswel! “lee-aaaam”, ….no, its liam.
IT’S FINISHED!
this is the repeatable section of the design. Now to repeat it to fit a t-shirt and get it sent off! hurrahhh.
GETTING THERE!
i’ve never been so thankful for guidelines!
A design i’m working on today. trying to create a navajo style pattern with the tyre track prints i collected from my toy cars. Not thinking about colour just yet, but i have a feeling this design will look a million times better with a bit of colour underneath it…
Finally got round to editing a larger version of my stags head.
This version is drawn on A1 paper, meaning much more space for the details of the image. Where as the previous drawing was created on A3 paper, then blown up. big nono.
(i’ve had to use a screenshot of the drawing, after 5 attempts of uploading it to tumblr, it still just showed up as a blank page… so i apologize for the poor quality).
Linoprint collaboration with Cole Green,
the result of a VERY boring day at work.
A drawing for dice’s birthday card.
Her two favourite things; knitting, and her storm-trooper helmet.
Remember I won day-ones tshirt competition??
Here’s the winning tshirt being modelled last night by my beautiful assistant Georgia.
some scanner experiments with toy cars, blown up 4 sheets long. quite effective!
